I´m the new German National Coach for TrailO. One Junior I train made to the junior national team this year, after starting with TrailO and the Bavarian Forest 5 Days last year. This already means that I started traveling a lot with Paul. After thinking some time I decided to apply for the open job as National Coach. The application was accepted by our nation federation. It was helpful that I own a national team level coaching license for 4 years already and have show that I could bring athletes to the national team level. I had some club coach responsibilities and the beginning of August so I couldn´t go to the European Champs with the team. I´ll now start the job with the preparation for the World Champs that will be held in California next year. Unfortunately we don´t have any funding for TrailO in Germany, so even the coach has to cover the expenses itself. But I´m looking forward to the World Champs next year.
